I realized that I haven't gotten any good pictures of Sky and Kayala for a really long time and that I haven't gotten any of the three of them. So, yesterday I got them dressed up and bribed them with eminems. They did really well!

I have so many of Kayala because she is sooooooo adorable and had so many cute shots! I just couldn't chose only one or two!

Snow Day! We woke up this morning with fresh beautiful snow. The sun came out today and it was pretty warm! We had a blast!

Sky's snow man, he picked out all the stuff for it and he worked really hard helping me make it

Kayala's snow girl, she picked out the stuff and worked really hard making this one too. She was so cute! She wanted her to be a princess snow girl and wear a princess dress.

And the baby! A snow man family. Don't ya love the hoola skirt!

Kayala loves this dress, she calls it her Bell dress, because it's yellow and it looks like Bell's from beautify and the Beast. She especially likes it because for some reason Sky doesn't like it, and whenever she puts it on he gets this big angry face and tells her to take it off. She beams up with a big smile and loves that it makes him so upset. She'll walk up to him and Sky, "Sky, I have my bell dress on"

When we came in from playing out in the snow Kayala put on her snow white dress up. She looked so cute! But she wouldn't let me take a picture. So, I tried the eminem thing again...

Worked like a charm :)

Kien wore the same outfit Sky wore, only Sky was blessed in the summer. It was in the middle of the winter and we had this little summer outfit! We had him all bundled up in blankets and sleapers until we got there, then right after the blessing we bundled him up again.

On January 2nd, 2011 Kien Emron Broderick recieved his baby blessing. He was exactly 2 months old, to the day. It was an amazing blessing and it wasn't until right as it began when I realized that I didn't have a pen or a paper to write it down. I wrote Sky's and Kayala's down, but somehow it slipped from my mind to write his down. Maybe rushing through the door trying to get me, Kien, Sky and Kayala all ready and get to church on time. Well, it was a beautiful blessing and the spirit was soooo strong. I wish all of our family and close friends could have been there, but it was nice being with our ward family and friends. Kien, we love you so much! You are our precious little angel, thank you for chosing to come to us, we hope and pray we can be good parents to you! I wanted to get a picture of Sky and Kayala with Kien, but they had already changed. I thought we would get all dressed up again the next sunday and take pics, but that didn't happen. Well, at least I got some good pics of Kien.

These beautiful swans live in the lake right in front of our house. I have never sween a swan in real life before! They are so big and beautiful! Right now the lake is half way frozen, we had a big storm come through and it is going to be negative 4 degrees! All of the geese, ducks and swans are huddeling up trying to stay warm, the poor little deers. I don't see why they didn't fly south for the winter.

Kien Bien

Kien is sooo sweet! This was him in December at one and a half months old. He was still wearing 0-3 months then. He is just so sweet and so happy! Big smiles all the time, he talks so much. He is the most adorable little baby boy in the whole world! We can say that because Sky isn't a baby anymore :) We love you Kien!

Christmas 2010

On Christmas Eve we went to the Meier's home. It was so beautiful! Debra has gorgeous Christmas decorations and a beautiful home. We had a very fancy fabulous dinner and desert and then acted out the nativity. I could feel the spirit very strong during it, I think that is a great tradition and want to start it for our family.

Ried has been our home teacher the entire time we have been here and has never missed a month. He is the best home teacher we have ever had!

This was our first year celebrating Christmas alone, with just our little family. Although we really missed being with family!!!! A ton!!!! We really enjoyed our little Christmas, and it was really fun sharing it with cherished friends whom we will miss when we move!

Sky already knew what was in his stalking, he was an early riser and he emptied his stalking while we were all sleaping.

So what Kayala and Sky both wanted most was "How to train your dragon" movie and the dress up for it! That is all they asked Santa for!

Every year my Dad does treasure hunts for our main gifts. I couldn't go wihtout it this year, so I made one for Cade! I hid them in the dryer, luckily no one started the dryer that morning

And the mess afterward! It stayed like this for a few days!

Cade made a delicious breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, patato bread toast and home made jelly. Mmmm it was soooo good! We read a few Christmas stories together as a family and they all had sausage and bacon cooking with muffins, mmm, that could be something to do with why we had sauage and bacon too!

We had a white Christmas! It snowed all day Christmas Eve and even a little on Christmas morning! Sky got a winter coat from Santa and after breakfast while me and Kayala and kien were sleaping Cade and Sky went out in the snow! They sledded down some pretty big hills and had a blast. Wish I could have been there and wish he brought the camera!

We found some presents at our front door! Sky said Jesus brought them to us. I will have to tell you all about our secret santas! I will do a post on it later. We are so grateful for them!

YAAAHHHH!!! More dress up!

As you can see, Kayala loved her cute little purse! She loves pink and she loves purses!

Becca Secor and little Max, who is only 4 weeks older than Kien. Her and her awesome Husbaand Matt invited us over with the Quinney's and the Fish's later on Christmas evening and we all had a good ol time! Angela made the best Peanutbutter cheese cake!!! MMMmmmm I should have taken a picture of them. I need the recipe!
