Christmas 2010

On Christmas Eve we went to the Meier's home. It was so beautiful! Debra has gorgeous Christmas decorations and a beautiful home. We had a very fancy fabulous dinner and desert and then acted out the nativity. I could feel the spirit very strong during it, I think that is a great tradition and want to start it for our family.

There is Debra with Kien Bien, she was so good with him!

Ried has been our home teacher the entire time we have been here and has never missed a month. He is the best home teacher we have ever had!
Good ol Ethen!
One of their many Christmas trees, it was soooo tall and so gorgeous I just had to take a picture

Ginger bread houses! She baked real ginger bread for the houses! Sky wanted to eat it so bad!
Mmmmm our dessert!

Kayala Bean and Sky boy with his little boy hair cut!
We acted out the nativity, Cade was Joseph and Kayala was an angel
The whole crew

Debrah was the nararater, she did great!
We all got presents!

Cade and I got a motab Christmas C.D. I love it!

Sky and Kayala both got christmas jammies. Sky got how to train your dragon jammies and Kayala's are tinker bell
This was our first year celebrating Christmas alone, with just our little family. Although we really missed being with family!!!! A ton!!!! We really enjoyed our little Christmas, and it was really fun sharing it with cherished friends whom we will miss when we move!

After Santa showed up, around 2:00 in the morning!

Sky already knew what was in his stalking, he was an early riser and he emptied his stalking while we were all sleaping.

Kayala Bean got a new tinker bell tooth brush to match her tinker bell jammies!

Sweet Kien Bien in the swing

Cade with his stalking in front of the fire! I love fire places!
And me... not so cute in the mornings

Sky absolutely loved his tool set from Grandma and Grandpa Nielsen!

So what Kayala and Sky both wanted most was "How to train your dragon" movie and the dress up for it! That is all they asked Santa for!

Look at that smile! She loves dress up clothes!

She got a precious little kitty that meows and purrs from grandma and grandpa Nielsen

Cade got me some new cute long sleaved jammies! I love them!

I took a picture of this one cause I thought it was so pretty! In case your curious what he got, it was Avatar!

Great Grandma Smith gave her a soft fuzzy kitty that comes in a cute little purse! She calls it her wolf kitty

Every year my Dad does treasure hunts for our main gifts. I couldn't go wihtout it this year, so I made one for Cade! I hid them in the dryer, luckily no one started the dryer that morning

And the mess afterward! It stayed like this for a few days!

Cade made a delicious breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, patato bread toast and home made jelly. Mmmm it was soooo good! We read a few Christmas stories together as a family and they all had sausage and bacon cooking with muffins, mmm, that could be something to do with why we had sauage and bacon too!

We had a white Christmas! It snowed all day Christmas Eve and even a little on Christmas morning! Sky got a winter coat from Santa and after breakfast while me and Kayala and kien were sleaping Cade and Sky went out in the snow! They sledded down some pretty big hills and had a blast. Wish I could have been there and wish he brought the camera!

We found some presents at our front door! Sky said Jesus brought them to us. I will have to tell you all about our secret santas! I will do a post on it later. We are so grateful for them!

YAAAHHHH!!! More dress up!

As you can see, Kayala loved her cute little purse! She loves pink and she loves purses!

Becca Secor and little Max, who is only 4 weeks older than Kien. Her and her awesome Husbaand Matt invited us over with the Quinney's and the Fish's later on Christmas evening and we all had a good ol time! Angela made the best Peanutbutter cheese cake!!! MMMmmmm I should have taken a picture of them. I need the recipe!
